From 1972 through the present while continuing his career as a writer, director, producer, and production executive, Mr. Karson has continued writing and producing materials for advertising motion pictures by creating hundreds of trailers and television packages, electronic press kits and promotional reels for films released by major studios and leading independent producers and distributors, both domestic and foreign. In addition, he has created advertising for companies allied with the entertainment industry such as Deluxe Laboratories. This work is done with his brother Gil Karson through Karson Media using state-of-the-art graphics and techniques.

Working as a director and director/cameraman, Mr. Karson has created scores of commercials for a wide range of products and services. Formats include both television and cinema in dramatic, comedic, and stylized musical presentations from 10 seconds to 3 minutes. Often these commercials are incorporated into short films as separate presentational productions with celebrity spokespersons.
